Dash Wallets was founded nearly 8 years ago with the goal of creating minimalist, functional wallets at an affordable price. With overwhelming support from our loyal backers since 2012, we are able to do just that. We plan to continue listening to your feedback and improving our designs for you backers!

Regarding the 0% funded glitch on Kickstarter, we're already in contact with them and hopefully it will be fixed soon.
Moving forward, we will be sending out BackerKit surveys via email in a couple weeks.
You'll be able to include exclusive add-ons with your shipment and securely provide shipping info for your rewards! We'll update you more on surveys as we get closer to that date. Production is set to begin in about two weeks once the Kickstarter funds come in.

If you know anything about us here at Dash, you'll know we love wallets. We live wallets. And we are extremely excited to bring the BANDO 2.0 to life. We truly believe it is the most functional utility wallet for daily use. Today, we're going to go into some more of the design features that make it useful wallet.
UPGRADED CASH BAND
This time around, we went back to the drawing board to design a more secure band. The last thing we wanted was to have your wads of cash lost!
We were able to work through our manufacturing partners to source an elastic band factory that was willing to help us custom prototype integrated silicone grip onto the band. This was no easy task.
We needed to find a material that would maintain elasticity while allowing the silicone to be adhered to the surface. The original band from BANDO 1.0 we used ran into issues when integrating the silicone because the surface would not allow the silicone to adhere. Essentially, it the dots would fall off when stretched. In the end, we were able to source a completely new material for our black band.
After that, we tested different sizes of dots with different heights. After testing a ton of prototypes we decided on having more rows of dots, rather than having fewer, but larger dots. This pattern proved to have the most secure grip.
This new and improved band makes the BANDO 2.0 very secure for you cash.
NEW CARD ORGANIZER PULL TAB
One of the features we were most excited about was the new pull tab organizer. Using thin divider compartments, it allows you to organize your cards to easily access without having to fish through a stack.
You can fit one, two, or more into each slot to fit 8+ cards comfortably inside.

Today, we have some exciting news to share with you all...
With nearly 6000 backers, we received a ton of suggestions through comments and messages. Through our preliminary survey, we were able to record feedback about color choices, design preferences, and fulfillment plans.
One of the most popular suggestions got was what we internally dubbed "Kickstarter Green". Many backers asked for this Olive Green color choice, and luckily our manufacturing partners were able to whip up a prototype. We're very excited to announce it as a STRETCH GOAL!
It will have an Dark Green / Olive Exterior with Black accents and details. We will be making a limited amount just for this Kickstarter production run!
We're rapidly approaching the end of our campaign but we're confident we can reach this Stretch Goal! You can help out by sharing the BANDO 2.0 to anyone who might need a wallet upgrade!

We hope everyone has had a great weekend. This week, we will begin our series of Design Updates where we discuss the design features we had planned for the BANDO 2.0. Today we will cover an overview of features and dimensions.
2 QUICKDRAW SLOTS - Instead of the usual single quickdraw with a slide slot like our other wallets, we opted to make two slots. This was highly demanded from our previous campaigns as many people liked the option of having two go-to cards- For example, an ID and favorite bank card.
CASH BAND - The BANDO 2.0 will have a stretchy, but durable band to secure cash without the risk of it falling out. More on it's upgrades in the next update.
PULL TAB - We took a page out of the 5.0 design and reinforced the pull tab for BANDO. It's been upgraded with a built-in organizer so you can fan out your cards easily!
SECRET COMPARTMENT - This slot can fit a couple cards or some smaller items like coins or memory cards. Kind of a small utility slot that's hidden behind your cash!
Several backers have also asked if certain intl bills will fit comfortably and hopefully we can clear this up!
Here are the dimensions of the Euro Banknotes and as you can see, only the largest denominations will have a slight overhang of 1mm. Overall, it should be fine while carrying Euros. We didn't want to increase the size of the wallet just to prevent overhang.
